A Day of Double Victory: God’s Arm Global Foundation Hosts Landmark Events for Women and Girls same day!
October 11, 2026 we proudly announces the completion of a historic two-part mission on advancing gender equality and leadership development for both young girls and women in Nigeria. God’s Arm Global Foundation successfully hit two critical targets simultaneously through a physical march and a virtual summit, making a powerful global statement.
Target 1: Mobilizing for Change – March to Commemorate UN Day of the Girl Child
Commencing at 4 PM WAT at the Military Cenotaph, the African Girls Education (AGE): Girls in 360° Leadership program took to the streets. GAGF organized a powerful March Demonstration to commemorate the United Nations International Day of the Girl Child.
Operating under the theme “End Child Marriage & Invest In Girls’ Rights,” with the critical physical security support of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) under the leadership of the Divisional officer Valentine Fatige and team, and Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) marched with the AGE: Girls in 360° Leadership to advocate for five core pillars: Education, Voice & Participation, Leadership, Safety & Dignity, and Equal Opportunities.
This march not only raised visibility for these crucial issues but also provided a visible demonstration of youth commitment to change, reinforcing the foundation’s dedication to providing a “Girls in 360° Leadership” model that starts in youth and continues into adulthood.
Target 2: Charting the Course for Women Leaders Virtual Leadership Summit immediately after the AGE March Demonstration at 8 PM WAT, the momentum continued virtually with the African Women Education (AWE): Women in 360° Leadership program; a subsidiary organ of God’s Arm Global Foundation, AWE hosted a groundbreaking Virtual Leadership Summit with the theme of “PURPOSEFUL LEADERSHIP.”
The summit was honored by the presence of a keynote speaker of impeccable global standing: Amb. Dr. Anita Davis-Defoe, PhD.
Dr. Defoe, whose extensive credentials include roles as Vice President of the Circle of 99 Group LLC, President of the Board of Women on the Move around the Globe, Executive Director for Dr. John C. Maxwell Leadership Team and UN Global Peace Ambassador, Founder of UPSHIFT Global Inc. USA, delivered a powerful message that inspired attendees across continents. Her address provided actionable strategies for implementing purposeful leadership in every sphere of influence. Amb. Dr. Anita was highly thrilled to announced herself henceforth as a Global Mentor to GAGF subsidiary organs as she was proud of these great advancement.
Unified Mission:
The back-to-back success of these two events, one physical and one virtual, one focusing on the foundational rights of young girls and the other on the strategic development of adult women, exemplifies God’s Arm Global Foundation’s comprehensive, life-cycle approach to leadership and education.
“Hitting these two major targets in one day demonstrates the remarkable dedication and operational capacity of our Foundation and its subsidiary, AWE,” said a foundation representative. “We are grateful for our partners, the NSCDC, and FRSC, for their support of our march, and to Amb. Dr. Anita Davis-Defoe for her illuminating message. Most importantly, we celebrate the participants—the girls and women who are transforming their potential into leadership action.”
